Linear city model facts for kids
Linear city is a model in modern urban planning. It was first developed by the Spanish urban planner Arturo Soria y Mata in 1882. It was an alternative to densely populated industrial cities. The idea was resumed in the 20th century in Soviet Germany and Soviet Union.
