Description: Unstan Tomb A chambered cairn on a promontory in the Loch of Stenness. Inside, the main chamber is over 25ft long and is split into five sections by vertical slabs of flagstone. As well as many human bones, a lot of pottery was found when the cairn was excavated. This type of neolithic pottery is now known as Unstan Ware. Access is free, unrestricted and unsupervised.
