Description: Hunslet 0-6-0T No.686 of 1898 "Lady Armaghdale" at Highley Museum, 9/11. It was built for the Manchester Ship Canal as "No.14 St. John". It was displaced by diesels on the MSC in 1958 when it was sold to ICI for use at their Blackley dyestuffs works. It was renamed "Lady Armaghdale" at that time. The Blackley rail system was closed in December 1968 and the following year the loco was sold for preservation.
