Ilford railway station serves the town of Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge in London. The station has five platforms. Platforms 3, 4 and 5 are normally used. Platforms 1 and 2 are only used during engineering work and line disruption. Ilford is currently served by TfL Rail services between Liverpool Street railway station and Shenfield, with limited services only operating between Stratford/Ilford-Shenfield. The station is located on the Great Eastern main line. Crossrail services will replace the current Liverpool Street-Shenfield stopping metro service in 2018.
