The West Fertilizer Plant explosion was an explosion in West, Texas, near Waco. It happened just before 7:50 pm CDT. There was a lot of damage to buildings and houses. Fourteen people were killed and over 160 injured. The cause of this blast was ammonium nitrate. However, the cause of the fire that took place before the explosion is currently unknown.
