Volzhsky (Russian: Волжский) is an industrial city in Volgograd Oblast, Russia. It is located on the east bank of the Volga River and its distributary the Akhtuba, 20 kilometers (12 mi) northeast of Volgograd. In 2010, 314,255 people lived in the city.
