Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet facts for kids
The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet is the cabriolet version of the Volkswagen Golf, introduced in 1979. The second generation were introduced in 1993, the third in 1998.
The engines for the Cabriolet are almost the same as for the regular Golf.
The Golf Cabriolet was discontinued in 2002, and succeeded by the Volkswagen New Beetle Cabriolet and the Volkswagen Eos.

- 1.6 55 kW (75 hp) and 81 kW (110 hp)
- 1.8 66 kW (90 hp), 70 kW (95 hp), 72 kW (98 hp) and 82 kW (112 hp)
Second & third generation
- 1.6 74 kW (100 hp)
- 1.8 55 kW (75 hp) and 66 kW (90 hp)
- 2.0 85 kW (115 hp)
- 1.9 TDI 66 kW (90 hp) and 81 kW (110 hp)
