Valchedram Island (Bulgarian: остров Вълчедръм, romanized: ostrov Valchedram) is an ice-free island off the north coast of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica extending 280 m (310 yd) in southeast-northwest direction. The feature is named after the town of Valchedram in northwestern Bulgaria.
Location
The island is located 1.55 km (0.96 mi) northwest of Cape Shirreff and 2.2 km (1.4 mi) north-northeast of San Telmo Island (British early mapping in 1822, Chilean in 1971, Argentine in 1980, and Bulgarian in 2009.
