Vaibhav Chhaya is an Indian Marathi language poet, writer and Ambedkarite activist. He is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Early life
Vaibhav Chhaya spent his childhood in Vitthalwadi with his deserted mother, who took on a job as a booking clerk with the railways to ensure that Vaibhav went to school. He eventually earned a BMM degree from CHM College in Thane and a degree in journalism from Mumbai University.
Career
Writer
Vaibhav, who is influenced by Babasaheb Ambedkar and Namdeo Dhasal, has written extensively as a columnist in various newspapers, monthly and weekly magazines. The Ambedkarite movement, digital communications and social media are major themes of his writings. He has written about issues such as the Prevention of Atrocities Act, the Paraiyar Study circle, Dalit movement, and Rohith Vemula. Other subjects include the debate regarding affirmative action, what he says is the uncontrolled wave of privatisation, the 1997 Ramabai Nagar killings, the Khairlanji massacre, injustice facing the oppressed, misrepresentation in sports, and poor treatment of the backward castes in the media
In 2014, his collection of poems, Delete Kelel Saar Aakash (Entire Deleted Sky), sold 1,000 copies on the day of publication.
