Stan Berenstain (September 29, 1923 - November 26, 2005) was an American author. He was best known for his books about the "Berenstain Bears". His first book was called The Berenstain Bears Baby Book. It was released in 1951.
Berenstain was born in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 29, 1923. He wrote books with his wife Jan. They were married on April 14, 1946.
On November 26, 2005, Berenstain died of cancer. He was 82.
