Solid state facts for kids
Solid state electronics are electronic circuits that contain only solid materials. Examples of solid state devices include transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits. Devices that are not solid state include vacuum tubes, gas-filled tubes, and devices with moving parts such as relays.
