Screen Gems Pictures is an American movie studio founded in 1999.

History

It was founded in 1929 as an animation studio, and shut down in 1946. It was revived as a television unit of Columbia Pictures in the 1950s. It was a movie studio since 1999.

Logo in 2011

Buffy Cuttler decided to create a Screen Gems logo for the upcoming film Friends with Benefits in 2011. He created the logo by having a cloud background with the 1965 Screen Gems logo on it.
