Pollux (star) facts for kids
Pollux is an orange giant star. It is the brightest star in the Gemini constellation. It's diameter is over 11,000,000 kilometres (6,800,000 miles). Once a type A star, Pollux has used all the hydrogen in its core and expanded to become a giant.
