Peshkopi is a city in Dibër District, Dibër County, northeastern Albania. It is the capital of both.
It is 187 kilometres (116 mi) away from Tirana, the capital of Albania, and 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the Republic of Macedonia. About 14,100 people live here.
Peshkopi is east of the Black Drin river.
There is a branch of Aleksandër Moisiu University.
