No contest facts for kids
No contest is a plea in which the defendant making the plea has chosen not to dispute the criminal charges against them, particularly in United States courts. No contest pleas usually carry results similar to pleading or being found guilty of certain crimes. No contest is called Nolo contendere in the Latin terminology. Some countries outside the U.S. do not allow people to plead no contest.
