Mercedes-Benz Vario facts for kids
The Mercedes-Benz Vario is a series of full-size commercial heavy vans, trucks and buses. The Vario series was originally called the Mercedes-Benz T2 (Transporter 2). They have been produced by Mercedes-Benz since 1995. This series was restyled in 1996 and given the current name Vario. The Vario is available with a 'OM904' heavy-duty diesel engine. This is the same engine shared with the Mercedes-Benz Atego. The Vario has proved a popular chassis for minibuses and mini-coaches. A model with a wheelchair lift is now available.
