Geography

The Ipswich Boonah Road marks the eastern boundary of the locality.

History

The name Limestone Ridges refers from an outcrop now mined for dolomite.

Limestone Ridges Provisional School opened on 11 November 1884. On 1 April 1910, it became Limestone Ridges State School. It closed on 3 May 1974. It was at 335 Limestone Ridges Road (27°49′48″S 152°43′46″E / 27.8301°S 152.7295°E / -27.8301; 152.7295 (Limestone Ridges State School)).
