Kōryō, Nara facts for kids
Kōryō (広陵町, Kōryō-chō) is a Japanese town in Nara Prefecture on the island of Honshū. The town has a population of 33,606 people.
History
According to tradition, Kōryō was sometimes the site of an Imperial Palace, including
- Umayasaka Palace or Umayasaka-no-miya, 640.
- Kudara Palace or Kudara-no-miya, 640–642 Kudara is related to an ancient name of the Korean kingdom of Baekje.
