JDSU facts for kids
JDS Uniphase Corporation (JDSU) was an Ottawa company that made fibre-optic network parts. Over 10,000 people worked for them in Ottawa and 30,000 world-wide.
JDS Fitel was founded by Jozef Straus in 1981. Straus, an engineer, also worked at Bell-Northern Research.
