István Géczi facts for kids
István Géczi (16 March 1944 – 10 September 2018) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper and politician. He played for Ferencvárosi TC. He was born in Sajóörös, Hungary.
He won a silver medal in the 1972 Summer Olympics, and also participated in the 1966 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1972 for the Hungary national football team.
Following the end of his career, he was a member of the Hungarian Parliament in the late 1980s.
Géczi died on 10 September 2018 in Budapest from a stroke at the age of 75.
