Description: The River Teise(Lesser Teise) enters the Medway, at Yalding, Kent, just downstream if the automatic sluice where the river drops from +11.2m to +7.41m above mean sea level. This photo is taken from by the automatic sluice looking downriver, Twyford Bridge can be seen in the distance.United, the Teise and Medway pass under Twyford Bridge. The river then flows in a loop towards Yalding, where it is joined by the River Beult which has been joined by the River Teise (the other bit!) and has passed under Town Bridge. Twyford Bridge replaced the two Fords, that is, the fords over the Teise and the Medway.
