Description: Headrick Chapel in Wears Valley, Tennessee. The Headrick Cemetery contains burials dating to the early 1800s, and was situated around a large oak tree. In 1902, lightning struck and destroyed the oak. The valley's residents erected the chapel on the site a few weeks later. It is now on the National Register of Historic Places, and a frequent site for weddings.
