Description: Williamsburg, Virginia. The capitol of the Virginia colony during the eighteenth century which was reconstructed and restored to its original state by John D. Rockefeller Jr. during the 1930s. The Frenchman's map whichh is so-called for lack of identity of its author. It is dated 1782 and was "levee au pas".
