Description: The old Whitelaw Hotel (now used as affordable housing units) located at 1839 13th Street, NW in the Greater U Street Historic District of Washington, D.C. Designed by Isaih T. Hatton in 1919, the Renaissance building originally served as a hotel for African-Americans. It's now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
