Description: Small replica of the Statue of Liberty on Alki Beach, Seattle, Washington, U.S. near the site of the landing of the Denny Party, generally considered the founders of Seattle. The current statue, erected September 2007 is in bronze. It is a replica of a statue erected 1952 on this site; that one was plaster sheathed in copper. The Space Needle is visible in the distance at left.
