Description: One of the twelve stone carvings of heads of Christian Reformers along the roofline of the east wall of West Park United Reformed Church, Harrogate. The building was designed as West Park Congregational Church by Lockwood and Mawson, and completed in 1861-1862. This is John Dryden, the poet who supported Fairfax and then didn't. He ultimately converted to Catholicism.
