Description: Webster Hall, at 125 East 11th Street between Third and Fourth Avenues, in Greenwich Village near Astor Place and the East Village, was built in 1865 by Charles Rentz, and was one of the first modern nightclubs in the United States. It operated as The Ritz in the 1980s, showcasing rock acts, and currently acts as a club, rock concert hall recording venue and corporate-events location. The building is a NYC landmark.
