Description: "Vernacular Frame House" on the NRHP since April 8, 1982, on Delaware St., St. Georges, New Castle County, Delaware. Odd name was likely given as this house is meant to represent a working class residence. It was built by a former slave c. 1864 and his grand-daughter lived in the house until at least 1982. Interesting window on the north side not seen here ("Gothic" rectangle plus triangle window)
