Description: Vallay Island, or Eilean Bhalaigh, is a now-uninhabited island by the northwest coast of North Uist (Uibhist a Tuath), Outer Hebrides. Here its southeast coast is seen from the beach at Solas, during a still low tide which is gradually coming in.
