Description: Huge, dead giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), 30 feet in diameter at the base, hollowed out for stagecoaches and later cars to drive through on the old Big Oak Flat Road. In the Tuolumne Grove of sequoias, in Yosemite National Park, a mile off CA route 120 (the Tioga Pass road).
