Description: Photo of bandleaders Tommy (left) and Jimmy Dorsey. The two brothers originally led the Dorsey band together, but had a serious falling-out in 1935. Tommy walked out after an on-stage argument between them, with Tommy forming his own band. The brothers reunited in 1945 and consolidated their bands in 1953 to become the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra. Tommy Dorsey died in 1956 and Jimmy died in 1957. The item has no copyright markings on it as can be seen in the links above.
