Description: Thurian long Laplae (Thai script: ทุเรียนหลงลับแล) is a durian cultivar from Laplae district, Uttaradit Province, Thailand. It is quite famous in Thailand under durian aficionados for its sweetness with strong vanilla and caramel flavours, and without too much of the usual odour of a durian. The name long Laplae means "lost in (=in love with) Laplae". A durian festival is also held each year, early June, in Laplae district.
