Description: Thespis (1965), bronze, by artist Robert Cook, for the opening of the Canberra Theatre; commissioned by the National Capital Development Commission, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. Relocated in 1998 to the link between the Canberra Theatre and the Playhouse, at the City Hill entrance. Unfortunately, long-term construction at the rear of the complex makes an uncluttered image difficult to achieve.
