Description: The River Ure. This is the river not far from its source on Lunds Fell. It runs down to the southern part of the Mallerstang Valley and then into Wensleydale and the water eventually reaches the North Sea. A few hundred yards to the north the track crosses the main watershed of northern England and all streams past that point flow into the Eden and thence into the Irish Sea.
