Description: Set up c.1280 in memory of Sir Roger de Pyvelesdon, who died in 1272, as confirmed in a deed signed in 1285 by his son, also called Roger de Pyvelesdon. The de Pyvelesdon family were of 'Puleston', a place just outside Newport, in the parish of Chetwynd.
