Description: The Clock Tower at Dufftown Known as the clock that hung MacPherson. The tower built in 1839, which now houses the tourist board was once the Dufftown jail. Lord Braco a long time enemy of the notorious MacPherson,was said to have had this clock put forward to ensure that Macpherson was hung before the arrival at Dufftown, of his pardon.
