Description: This painting is a good example of the distinctive Kandyan Style. Here, kneeling figures adore a series of Buddhas seated in meditation. The artist has individualized both the expressions of the Buddhas and the figures of the worshipers; each pair is individually numbered and captioned. The numbers are written using the familiar Arabic numerals (9, 10, 11, etc.), and the captions are in Sinhalese.
