Description: From the top level of the Colosseum, you get a good view of the city. Directly west is the Temple of Venus and Roma, thought to be the largest temple in ancient Rome. Built between 135-141 at the initiation of Hadrian, it was largely destroyed by an earthquake in the 9th century.
