Description: The "ferrier", Tannerre-en-Puisaye, Yonne, Burgundy, France. A whole railway network existed in the ferrier at the begining of the 20th century. Some of it was recreated in recent years to illustrate this industrial period. Here the 400 mm (1' 3 ¾ ) narrow gauge railway going through a path between mounds of slag towards the loading area, where slag was put onto a small train to be taken to Villiers-Saint-Benoit and further on from there.
