Description: Tallest tree in the UK, 'Dughall Mhor' This Douglas Fir in Reelig Glen has been measured as being 210 feet high! There are many trees in this most attractive glen nearly as tall, indeed it is an awe inspiring veritable 'Cathedral of Trees'. It is believed that James Baillie Fraser (1783-1856) was largely responsible although his father had begun planting in the area. James travelled widely including to the Himalaya and was the first European to reach the sources of the Jumna and the Ganges.
