Description: Cascaded-pawl single-revolution clutch driving cam cluster in a Teletype Model 33 that performs fully mechanical conversion of incoming asynchronous serial data to an internal parallel mechanical data bus. The clutch drum, lower left, has been removed to expose the cascade of pawls. In operation, the drum is driven while the pawl cascade drives the cam cluster.
