Description: THE FURIES COLLECTIVE WAS A COMMUNAL LESBIAN GROUP IN THAT WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE SUMMER OF 1971. THE GROUP INTENDED TO GIVE A VOICE TO LESBIAN SEPARATISM THROUGH ITS NEWSPAPER. THIS WAS ONE OIF THE BEST KNOWN COMMUNAL GROUPS IN WASHINGTON. THERE WERE 12 WOMEN LIVING IN THE HOUSE AGED 18 TO 28.
