Description: The west facade and porch of Washington Irving's "Sunnyside" in Tarrytown, New York. Irving called the porch his "piazza". The museum is not certain why Irving had "1656" put on the top of the wall. The building that Sunnyside was created out of probably dates from the 1690s.
