Description: The "Spanish Tower" of Washington Irving's "cottage" "Sunniside", in Tarrytown, New York, was added in 1847. Influenced by Irving's time as the American Ambasador to the Court of Isabella in Spain, and the Alhambra in Granada, the tower contained four bedroomns, and was Irving's last addition to the building.
