Image: Summit of Eagle Mountain in winter
Description: Cairn marking the summit of Eagle Mountain in New York's Catskills, a short distance from the Pine Hill–West Branch Trail, in wintertime. Lacking any sort of view and (for now) much in the way of the boreal forest found elsewhere in the Catskills at this elevation (3,610 feet (1,100 m)), it is considered by most members of the Catskill Mountain 3500 Club to be the most uninteresting summit of any the range's High Peaks they must climb to become members.
