Description: Leschi Park, on the shore of Lake Washington, was a popular place for city-dwellers to go for recreation. Once there, they could catch a boat for a ride on Lake Washington. In this photo, people wander by the landings, get ready to board the boats, or simply sit and talk by the shore.
