Description: Maywood Fire Dept. Building (1904) 511 St. Charles Avenue Firehouse with St. Charles street wall. This brick Dutch Revival building with the stepped front gable was the Village's first public fire stations, used as such until the early 1980's. It is now a residence and still contains the original fire pole. National Register (text source: Historic Homes and Buildings of Maywood, Illinois)
