Description: A Victorian lair marker, bearing the initials J.E.M., which is mistakenly believed to mark the grave of James Douglas, 4th earl of Morton, Scotland's Regent from 1572 to 1578. Morton was buried in an unmarked grave because of the ignominy of his execution in 1581.
