Description: The Steinle Turret Machine Company at 149 Waubesa Street in Madison, Wisconsin, was initially a small factory constructed by the American Shredder Corporation in 1903. In 1906, the building was purchased by the Steinle Turret Machine Company and expanded greatly over the following 14 years. The building was purchased by the Atwood Community Center in 2005 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
