Description: The Steedman-Ray House (also known as the Alexander Ray House or 1925 F Street Club) located at 1925 F Street, NW in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Greek Revival building was constructed for U.S. Navy Captain Alexander Ray (1799-1878) in 1849 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It now serves as the residence of the George Washington University president.
